Good Friday Participation 2012

For another consecutive year our Group will participate in the following good Friday Processions;

Vittoriosa Procession; Buglers and drummers from our group will accompany this procession with the additional help of members from our Cubs, Troop, Ventures and Rover Sections who will also give a helping hand to the people carrying the statues.

Paola Procession; Drummers and buglers from our Group will play tunes associated with these processions so as to help the public present get into an atmosphere similar to the one felt during the passion of Jesus.

All these members will be supervised by leaders from different sections.

One Day Car Wash March 2012

Our Gift For The Young and Elderly This Christmas

Today members from the Hamrun Scout Group today paid a visit to various institutes for the young and elderly located at Hamrun. There they entertained the audience by playing some Christmas carols and performing in a short play. Afterwards we gave each institute some food collected by the members themselves so that sisters can distribute as necessary.

The real way to get happiness is by giving out happiness to other people.

Hamrun Venture Leaders Winners of the Central District Bowling Competion

Hamrun Venture Leaders Karl Psaila Custo, Karl Fabri and David J Borg were yesterday able to surpass the points attained by all the Groups competing in the central district bowling competition held at eden century super bowl St Julians.

We would like to congratulate these leaders for winning this competition.
